On October 7, 14, and 21 at 10 am – 12pm, this year’s Fill the Boot campaign will officially begin at Exit 8 traffic light and the intersection on Dean Mark Cummin’s Rd and Nickle Plate Rd. ( between Walmart and Publix), . More than 27 members of the Hardeeville Fire Department will greet motorists on the street all over the city, asking them to make a donation to support MDA’s mission of funding research to accelerate treatments and cures, as well as caring and empowering kids and adults from day one so they can thrive.

United Way of the Lowcountry is holding a Share & Care Day. We ask that you share to show you care about this community. We have local agencies and churches which help those in need and we want to help stock their pantries.
We are asking that you donate adult diapers, personal care products such as shampoo, soap, deodorant, body lotion, body powder, after shave. We also are asking for canned goods….vegetables, soups, especially meats such as corned beef hash, canned hams, tuna, rice, boxed staples, crackers, cookies. Whatever your family likes, others like!
