Morris Center to Host Community Art Event, Featuring Artist Amiri Geuka Farris

Saturday, November 18, 2017

The Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage is teaming up with Bluffton artist Amiri Geuka Farris to build a large-scale Lowcountry mural for permanent display at the Center. This special installation will thrive off the creative minds of our community, who are invited to help construct a collage on Saturday, November 18, from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage, located at 10782, S. Jacob Smart Blvd., Ridgeland, SC. Guests are asked to bring in their own photographs and images that represent their unique experience as part of the Lowcountry community. The mural's purpose is to capture the positivity fostered in our rich and culturally diverse region while celebrating the differences and similarities of its many people.
